Work Continues on the Bill Emerson Bridge

The dominant project in Cape for the past several years has been the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge. This year has been no exception. In the photo above, you can see Pier 2 in the foreground, with cable stays installed on deck sections. In the distance, pier 3 reaches for the clouds. By the end of the year, Pier 3 will be complete and installation of the deck panels will begin in earnest. (full story)
