The transportation infrastructure industry was fortunate to have been deemed an “essential” business sector, which has allowed us to work through the COVID-19 pandemic. Many other industries and people have not been able to do so.
Most areas of the country are beginning to re-open using a phased approach. Every-day work practices have changed as we work to comply with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and state and local guidelines.
The Delta Companies Inc. will continue to develop and follow safe operating procedures to protect our employees, their families, and the communities in which we live and work. Employees have been trained on the importance of “physical distancing,” washing their hands often throughout the day, cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, and wearing face coverings, when appropriate.
